Pornography addiction – the underlying problem

One of the things I have found in helping those with pornography addiction is that in some way it is being used to solve another problem.  The problem is it doesn’t really solve the other problem, but it seems like it at the time, so the addict keeps going back to it.  Some may perceive it as the solution to stress, or boredom, or rejection, feeling unloved, etc.  The list is has no end… at least that I am aware of yet.  Once we can identify what the person is using pornography as a solution to, we can apply EFT in relation to that, and the need for pornography drops dramatically, very quickly.  Usually the addict will feel a significant drop in the pornography craving in just a few minutes.
