How porn affects the girl in the picture

It is hard for guys viewing porn to see the reality of what is going on in the life of the girl posing in the picture. She looks good, she looks happy. Men are being totally selfish as they view porn, with no consideration for others.

Here is a link to an article that describes how porn destroys the life of the girls in the picture.

I recommend that when you see a pornographic image, say a prayer for that girl. She needs help, whether she knows it yet or not. She has made choices, for reasons we can’t judge, that have put her on a very dark path. This path only leads to misery. Imagine if that was your sister posing in the picture; what would be your reaction? Would you be alarmed? Concerned? Could you view this as something good for her? Obviously not. Every time I ask these questions to men who view porn, their answers are almost universally the same, “If that was my sister I would be shocked and alarmed! I would be very worried about her.” So, why can’t you see that the girl you are lusting after is someone’s sister, someone’s daughter, she is a real person. Pornography strips women of their humanity, and men don’t see a real person who’s life is in trouble. But that is the truth of what is going on. When we see pornography in light and truth, it isn’t desirable, it is despicable. It is degrading, dehumanizing to women. Say a prayer for that girl and turn away, you don’t want to add to her misery.
