If you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always got.

Change:
To truly overcome any addiction, especially pornography addiction, a person needs to change their routine, and truly have a change of heart. A person can’t simply remove pornography from their life, and keep everything else the same, without pornography eventually slipping back into its former place in their life. A person needs to evaluate their daily activities, evaluate leisure activities, evaluate the way you handle stress and adversity, and make any needed changes to avoid turning to pornography. If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’re going to keep getting what you have always gotten.
I used to work in an industrial shop, and I always came home dirty. I would take a shower after work, and the water running off of me would be very dark for about a minute or two as the filth of the day was washed from my body. As long as I worked in that shop, I would always get dirty. I couldn’t go to work in that shop without getting dirty. If I wanted to stay clean, I had to find other work to do. Addictions are much the same way; if you spend your time surfing the net, if you are constantly seeking for entertainment, if you allow yourself to justify pornography when you’re stressed or feeling bad in someway, you’re going to get dirty. You’ve got to restructure your priorities, how you’re using your time, and become actively engaged in good causes. Find meaningful, purposeful work in activities that move you in a positive direction. Don’t just drift downstream in our worldly media, or it’s just a matter of time before your dirty again. Find ways to improve your life, to be of service to others, to elevate your mind, to make the world a better place! In all of this turn to Jesus Christ, and seek for his help, his direction, his strength to empower you to make the changes you need to make. He can change The desires of your heart, so that you no longer desire those things that make you dirty, but desire to do those things that are pleasing to God. Then you’ll be truly happy and joyful life!

Helping you be your best self!
